I was just wondering if AG takes back American Girl books that are of course, brand new, but have the old covers on them. My aunt (a teacher) found a case of brand new Samantha books while she was helping her school clean out the library storage area. They are the old-style white covers that are in their carrying case and have never been touched. Will AG allow me to return those for a credit since they are brand new, or am I out of luck because they changed the book covers? Just wanted your opinions.

Also, will AG only exchange items or will they issue you a refund check if asked? Thanks for your help on this; I've only ever exchanged stuff thru AG!
